Special Olympics

Yesterday we had the Special Olympics here in Germany sponsored by Germany and the military. Danny and I chose to volunteer, and it was soooo much fun! It was a bit difficult because we were both paired up with kids who didn't speak any English at all! Lucky for me, my buddy understood english, but also unlucky she couldn't speak English. I had a list of German phrases and pictures so we made it through the day with very few problems communication wise! Working with these kids really made me miss my job back home and the kids I worked with. I'm hoping I can visit them when we go home in November. And I'm trying not to be sad that November is still 6 months away!
The weather was nice yesterday, and both Danny and I came home with souveniers, we both got some pretty nice red faces and necks! But when we woke up today it wasn't nearly as bad and it has toned down a lot! I love the sun even if it results in sunburns!!
