A couple of weeks ago Danny came home from work complaining of some lower abdomenal pain on his right side. We were concerned it might have something to do with his appendix. And since it was a Saturday we went to the ER and by the time we got there and finally see a doctor the pain in his side had subsided so since it wasn't as intense, they said there really wasn't anything they could do. So they sent us home and told us to call our Doctor if he starts feeling the intense pain or notices any changes. For the rest of the week he was still in pain but it wasn't as intense as it was the day we went to the ER. Well Saturday rolls around, and he starts noticing some intense pain when he went to the bathroom. Off to the ER we go again! This time the doctor was productive and had Danny take some tests. They later determined he had passed a kidney stone. They told him that his side will still hurt for a couple days but it should lessen over time. Well it's been almost a week and it still hasn't gone down. So Yesterday we went back to the doctor and she ran some more tests. Hopefully we'll have those results soon.
Then right after Danny's appointment we had to hurry to my Doctors appointment which was on a different base! Luckily we made it just in time. Yesterday was my Glucose test. It really wasn't as bad as I had expected, the juice tasted like cold flat sprite. Quickly after drinking the juice Analyn started going crazy! It was really fun to feel her doing flips and kicks! But it never stopped. She was flipping and kicking all night! I don't know if she ever slept!! Luckily this morning she has been a bit on the calm side.
They called this morning, and told me that "I didn't fail, yet I didn't pass either." So I have to go back Monday, or Tuesday for the 3 hour test. Lucky me!! Even though it won't be fun, I'm grateful for the doctors and their ability to make sure Analyn and I stay safe during this pregnancy!
