We had a great First Official Mother's Day!! I got spoiled, and felt super loved!
Danny had to work in the morning so I went to church alone because he was gonna be late. It was a beautiful day at church and Danny showed up in time to help with the primary kids. And the gift from the ward was all the women got to go to Relief Society, and all the men taught all the classes! And then our second present from the Ward was they gave every woman a Pint of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. All the pregnant women were in heaven! It was also so hot in the church building that the ice cream really helped cool us all down!
And then when we got home Danny gave me a wonderful Mother's Day card and told me he had ordered a cook book I have been wanting for a very very very long time!! And then we went to a friend's house for dinner so I didn't have to cook!
I am so excited to be a mommy to two furbabies! I'm also excited to meet my little non furbaby! I can't wait to see if she's more like Danny or me!!

ReplyDeleteThat is so great! Happy Mother's day. I am glad you had a great first real mother's day! Next year will be even more special. Last year, my first mother's day with a baby, Emma learned how to say mommy on mother's day and daddy on father's day. Best present ever! Now that we know 2 families in Germany makes it better chances for us coming to visit ya'll. I hope so, fingers crossed.
