So Danny leaves for Basic on Tuesday, although I'm really excited for this new adventure I am definitely dreading the next 3 months until this adventure can start. Danny and I decided to take a break from the stress and go away for the weekend just the two of us. We couldn't decide until Thursday Morning where we were going. We were well on the road before we even decided to go to Vegas. Well sorta. We kinda knew that was the direction we would like to go and by the time we got back to American Fork (we were driving from Vernal) we decided that would be a nice destination. We dropped off the dogs and packed up again and headed out. As we got closer to Cedar City, we decided that we should just stop in Mesquite because if we kept driving to Vegas I would be way too tired to do anything once we got there. So we stopped in Mesquite and hung out there and it was a lot of fun. I even talked Danny into stopping and feeding the ducks with me... Ok not really. I just stopped the car since I was driving and fed the ducks part of my breakfast!! Then we headed off to Vegas where we stayed at the Tuscany hotel. It was really nice and our room was sweet. Or should I say suite! Haha. Later that night we walked the strip and just hung out. It was just what we needed. I got a lot of pictures. Well a lot for the two of us haha!
So now we're just doing the last minute stuff before he leaves. I am not looking forward to it, yet at the same time I'm ready for him to leave so he can hurry and come back! I'm really proud of him! He's an amazing man and I love him so much!
