Needles and tickets!

We had a very productive day! Today I took the dogs to the Vet to get all their shots caught up for Germany. Flash handled it like a trooper. He was scared and hugged up next to me while he got his shots. And then it was Jack's turn, and I'm 90% sure that Flash was laughing at him because he didn't know what he was getting himself into. Jack was so excited and running around on the table... Then they took his temperature. And he was not happy at all! He kept trying to jump off the table. It took all I had to hold him still enough to get his temperature. Then it was time for his shots. And I don't think he was expecting the first one because he yelped and tried once again to jump off the table. He was barking and growling and giving me dirty looks. But he was a trooper for the next two shots. But he wasted no time getting out of that room. I felt so bad for him. He wouldn't come near me for a couple hours. It was like he blamed me for him getting violated ;)
Then Danny called and said he only has to file one more paper in order to get his orders! So hopefully on Thursday he'll have his orders. We did purchase his plane ticket today!!! I had to make sure it was refundable just in case for some weird chance his orders don't come through!! But if everything goes well, Danny will be home August 25th 10:03 am!!! I can't wait! It's starting to feel more real that he's coming home soon. But it still feels a little surreal!
